What we like
- Fully automatic bed levelling and vibration compensation
- Enclosure keeps ABS/ASA prints stable
- Bambu Studio is easy to learn
What we don’t
- Fans are loud at high speed
- Fairly closed ecosystem
- Low-resolution camera
Verdict
The P1S is the safe pick if you want to print a lot without tinkering. The enclosure makes ABS and ASA far more reliable than on open-frame machines.
Setup
From box to first print takes about 20 minutes. The printer levels its bed, measures resonance and calibrates flow before each print.
Print quality
With PLA on the standard profile, surfaces are even with almost no ringing. The enclosure holds heat well, so large ABS parts warp less.
Should you buy it?
If you want a machine that simply works every day, the P1S is hard to fault. If you only print small PLA parts, the A1 mini costs far less.
